I'm still vague on this, due to lack of time to read enough. But, I'm
guessing the numbers relate to a geometrical progression of chromosome
structures during a certain type of cell division.

5X2 = 10

now take 10 and mulitply it by the sum of the first two multipliers (1
+2 =3) and you will get 30

Now add the last two multipliers (2+3 =5) to 30, and you get 35.

Is the actual questin- "what is the next number in the series?", which
I believe will begin again at 35 X2......
