Doing a tune-up on a 95 OMC Cobra with Delco EST breakerless ignition.
Manual says to use OMC adapter plug P/N 986662 to shunt the electronic spark advance when setting timing. Anyone know how to make one or is there a work around for this? Mike |

If you have the wiring diagram, all you have to do is use a jumper wire from the module pin to a source of B+. That will "freeze" the variable timing mode and allow you to set the base timing. Perhaps you might try to find a connector at a GM dealership Bill Grannis service manager |
