We had a terrific day on Canandaigua lake two weeks ago today. Perfectly clear, 70+, no wind. I like Canandaigua, but liked it better in my youth when Roseland Park was still an old amusement park! |

![]() "HK" wrote in message ... Best day of the year so far for boating on Chesapeake Bay. Accompanied by wife and my in-laws, we got an early start from Chesapeake Beach, headed up towards the Bay Bridge, came down through Kent Narrows, visited St. Micheals for a while, then went as far up the Miles River as the Route 370 bridge. Wish the rest of the summer would be as temperate as today. Very light boating traffic on the Bay. What's that? 055.jpg I'm guessing it's a duck blind, but I'm no hunter, so ... Glad you had a good day on the water! |

Indeed, it is an Eastern Shore duck blind, out in front of someone's house, a place where the brave white hunters can hide from those ferocious ducks the hunters blast with their shotguns. If the ducks saw them, they'd swim over to the hunters and...quack at them. |

Gasoline prices at the 2 corner gas stations was at $3.49 as of this morning and predicted to stay there through the summer. This was up from $3.08 just yesterday. He never said he was on his boat. His narcissism would have forced him to post pictures of his boat if that was the case. |

Hey Krauseter, was the cruise on your lobster boat? And I know it's a great comfort to have a M.D. on board just in case. Cheers, William crickets |

I didn't say there was anything wrong with your dingy. I remember having one that size 20 years ago as a tender for my Siren 17 sailboat. |
