I'm letting my friends take my Sea Ray 185 Sport ski boat to Lake Tahoe when
school lets out. They have a cabin near Homewood. What is their best launch ramp option and trailer parking option near Homewood? Sidenote: Is there a decent marina nearby where they can rent a slip for the week and just leave the boat in the water if it's affordable? |

Homewood does have a ramp, have not uesed it for years, but seems as if it was a narrow ramp. You can launch and get a slip at Meeks Bay. You may also be able to get a slip at Homewood. Really nice ramp at Tahoe City by the Coast Guard station. But that is 10 miles from Homewood. Sunnyside in Homewood may have slips available. Obexters is season only slips. |
