Absoutely not. I've done it often enough and I'm proud of Mrs. Wave
and our kids for their accomplishments.

Out freakin' standing.

What's his course of study?

Well this is the "cross we must bare" ..... he is going to get his PHD
in Philosophy and become one of those freaking liberal professors. On a
positive note, he would rather teach overseas so he won't be
corrupting our students. - Hide quoted text -

I know, mine too. So much education, so indoctrinated by the psudo-
intellectuals she surrounds herself with.

I think that is part of the learning experience and growth experience
for all of us. Think back to when you were 21-23 yrs old and compare
your perception of the world and beliefs then to your beliefs today.

All in all, I have been pleased with the young adults I have meet. They
might be naive and are looking for and expecting utopia, but I know I
was very similar when I was their age.

The HK Foundation appreciates those monthly checks you send, and promises
not to tell everyone about the *five illegitimate children you fathered in

What?? Didn't think our Tom had it in him! Good show.

My potential buyer called again this morning - wanted to make sure
that I "understood" his offer.

Get this - he felt that based on his "surveyor's" report that perhaps
he made an inappropriate offer. He went into this long explanation of
the why's and how's then said this:

"I don't want the engine as it's very old. Based on your asking
price, my "surveyor's" report and the cost of a new four stroke Honda
long leg which will cost me at least $3,000, I'll up my offer to
$1,000." Basically, he wants me to buy his new engine for him.

I told him never to call me again. :)

Ever.

Donate it to the Boy Scouts and be done with it and the frustrations you
are
experiencing.

I donate enough money, time and effort to charities.

Whatever. Just trying to reduce your stress factor.

I keep telling her, if you are 20 and you are not a liberal, you have
no heart. If you are 40 and still a liberal, you have no brain. She's
smart, she'll come around someday, I hope

Careful, with all that education, she might tell you the origins of that
quote. It came from a French monarchist.

"Not to be a republican at twenty is proof of want of heart; to be one at
thirty is proof of want of head." Francois Guizot (1787-1874) ;-)

I was learning how to be an Artilleryman. Yes, my perception of the world
has changed. I didn't know anyone like HK then!

Perhaps he would like to keep the other 75% of the boat's value? Not
everyone makes the sizeable charitable contributions you make!
