Default I hate boat buyers - Part Deaux...

My potential buyer called again this morning - wanted to make sure
that I "understood" his offer.

Get this - he felt that based on his "surveyor's" report that perhaps
he made an inappropriate offer. He went into this long explanation of
the why's and how's then said this:

"I don't want the engine as it's very old. Based on your asking
price, my "surveyor's" report and the cost of a new four stroke Honda
long leg which will cost me at least $3,000, I'll up my offer to
$1,000." Basically, he wants me to buy his new engine for him.

I told him never to call me again. :)

Ever.

Tom,
On Monday, I am heading up to NYC for my son's graduation from Columbia.
I am then helping him move to Cambridge, MA. I am willing to end your
pain of dealing with all these low life blood suckers by taking your
boat off your hands. Of course I do expect to be compensated for my
efforts, but I am sure we can work out something fair. I was thinking
$500 in a certified check would be reasonable. Please make the check
out to R.J. Smithers III.

ps - Did I tell you he is graduating with honors and was awarded a
scholarship from Columbia to be used for his post graduate work at the
school of his choice? Don't you hate parents who bore people with their
children's succuss stories?

Donate it to the Boy Scouts and be done with it and the frustrations you are
experiencing.

Absoutely not. I've done it often enough and I'm proud of Mrs. Wave
and our kids for their accomplishments.

Out freakin' standing.

What's his course of study?

I donate enough money, time and effort to charities.

The HK Foundation appreciates those monthly checks you send, and
promises not to tell everyone about the five illegitimate children you
fathered in the Carolinas during your last trip there.

Hee hee.. you're like me. Once someone ****es me off & insults me I
wouldn't care if he showed up at the door with the full asking price in
cash. I'd throw his sorry ass down the porch stairs and give him 10 seconds
to get off the property before I unleash the dog.

Tom's a generous guy. With last month's check, I was able to treat
myself to a latte, small, at Starbucks.

Well this is the "cross we must bare" ..... he is going to get his PHD
in Philosophy and become one of those freaking liberal professors. On a
positive note, he would rather teach overseas so he won't be
corrupting our students.
