The Susquehanna River is a large and sometimes fast moving body of water. There are three major hydroelectric plants/dams on the lower part of the river and caution needs to be used when boating/fishing/recreating near them. I haven't boated on this part of the river yet, but plan to do so this season after I do some additional research on the area; and in particular, boating hazards. TomC |
