Looks like GoogleGroups is in the tank for me.
I don't really know whats going on, but Google Groups is doing some
very wierd things. I'm posting this message, but find out I won't be able to access it within 12-24 hrs. ... or longer. anybody else using Google for access to rec.boats or other groups having the same problem? Interesting to note, I won't be able to read this post or any replies for a day or so. I wonder if anything has changed in my "Preferences"? |

Seems to be better now. Maybe they're doing something with regional servers? Frankly don't know if that makes any sense or not- but the problem that you're describing was very apparent a couple of days ago in this area. |

Tim, Start with teranews.com. They have a free server or you can get 30GB per year for $29.95 and access to their premium servers which also include support and have a very long retention rate. Binaries are supported on both plans. I tried Google Groups after Earthlink went down and found it to be a PITA to navigate. Dan |
