Of course that's considered an "inland" waterway, so a lot might

It's about 35 nm or so from Seattle to the eastern end of the Strait
of Juan de Fuca, where "inland waters" officially begin. But, if you
want to stipulate the western coastline of the state as point where
inland begins, 100 crow fly miles would be a decent guesstimate.
