Default Burp...it's nice down here...

Man, I could take this weather all day long.

Spent the day running around on Lake Murray - man that
lake has come up in level a lot - at least ten/twelve
feet.

Nice and cool outside at the moment - beautiful.

To hell with the wife, I'm moving as soon as I can. :)

Enjoy it and forget the snow. You can retire the 2 stage.

Hah!!

Want to hear the story about the ice storm in VA?

We came down 81 through VA to 77 and I'm telling you, there
were times when I thought I was going to lose the damn
boat trailer. Fishtailing all over the place.

And to top it all off, drivers in VA don't know what to do
when it starts snowing.

Morons. :)

People are morons because they are bright enough to not live where
they have to drive in snow 8 months of the year? I think it's the
other way around.

Ever the contrarian.

And I think you are thinking of Alaska.

New England only has snow three months of the year - possibly four.

Ok, maybe five at the outside. :)

And that leaves 3 or 4 months when the weather is really decent. I
can tell you from personal experience that living on a boat really
heightens your awareness of the need to head south after September,
and arriving much before the end of June isn't a good thing either.

Were you around Jakes Landing? I pulled the pontoon out of its slip
and put it on the trailer about 6:30 today. Took it to the mechanic
to get the spring service done, so I'll have it back next week.

When I was idling from the slip to the ramp, I nearly turned around
and took off down the lake it was so nice. The wife wouldn't have
appreciated that... she was waiting with the trailer at the ramp.

I am slammed at work this week. No time to think about meeting
somewhere for lunch. Maybe on your next trip down, huh?

Have fun!

10-4 - probably another couple of weeks. We'll hook up then.

It was gorgeous out this morning - I was amazed on the difference
when I launched over at the state ramp - got plenty of water
now.

I brought down the Princecraft for my son to use this summer.

Next time, It's the Ranger.
