Default Massachusetts Boating License & Registration?

Chuck, if you don't know the answer, there is no need for you to respond
with misleading guesses.

Take a look at http://www.boat-ed.com/ma/handbook/toc.htm or
http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dle/ for all the information you need. No user
"license" is required if you are over 18, a bit more complicated for minors.

I just moved to Mass. a few months ago and bought a used boat for the

and registration of the boat?

Thanks,

As in 43 other states, it's likely you will need to qualify for a
Mass. "Boater's Education Card" to legally operate a boat in that
state.
