Pretty bad here, too..... my son was going to be mate on a 2 day trip
on a 60 foot head boat, but the trip is cancelled due to waves, wind,
and thunderstorms.

Thanks but I knew that. I would prefer to read personal accounts vs.
Accuweather, a source not entirely accurate. I also do not rely on NOAA
weather/sea condition reports and forecasts.

As of 2005hrs ADT cool but the drizzle is clearing up a bit.

We're supposed to have a nice sunny day tomorrow, but back to the rain for 3
days starting tomorrow night.
We don't get much of a spring around here.

That really is a pretty good point. Locally, sea conditions are
typically worse than reported. I can't give you are really good answer
other than NOAA, however. The trip was cancelled due to predicted
conditions 45 miles offshore..... where they intended to be, right
now. I can pretty much guarantee that you wouldn't want to be out
there right now... *I* sure wouldn't......

Yep..........personal observations are *always* more accurate than NOAA or
any other sea condition reporting agency.

Just checking the cruise ship scheduled visits to Halifax for 2007.
First ship arrives April 18. Sure hope the passengers pack their 'long
underwear'!

Looks like the Queen Mary 2 will drop in twice... once early Sept and then
early October.
I'll have to sail out to greet her this year.
