2000 Johnson Ocean Pro Help (No Oil Light)
I did a search in google but couldn't find anything with the problem I'm
having on my Ocean Pro. The no oil light keeps coming on sporadically on the tach. The reservoir is full which is in the boat. The engine is getting oil as I burned about 3 gallons and the revision dropped down about a couple of inches. At 2000 rpm's or less the light stays off but as I increase the rpm's the light will come on and of sporadically. I'm now thinking about just disconnecting the oil injection and mixing the oil directly in the gas. The problem with that is I believe the alarm will go off on the engine because the sensor will think there is no oil in the motor. Any suggestions very much appreciated. Jim |
