Is there a good website to find used boats? I am in central Indiana,
FWIW. Thanks!

RS

What size and type of used boat are you looking for?

Small to modest sized used boats for sale in your area can be found at
http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/boa/

this is a good start, thanks!

fyi: I want a 17-20' runabout or cuddy for under 10k, preferably under 5k
but for the right boat, I'd step up. living in central Indiana, i am
realistic about how often i will use it... maybe 6-10 times a year. I work
most Saturdays & the nearest lake is Freeman/ Schafer both small dirty &
small , 1/2 hour away. Raccoon is about twice as far & also pretty small but
at least clean. :-)

thanks for all the replies

I bought both my boats on Ebay. (in the fall when the market is
slumped)

And have been very satisfied with my purchases.

Also one thing about Ebay, is that you can type in your zip code, and
"distance nearest first" and target boats closest to you. It worked
for me...

Don't tell Chuck - he thinks there is a huge market for $10,000
Bayliners.

Some particular reason you think you need to be a confrontational
prick?

Not so.

Cambridge Dictionary of American English, 1999 edition, page 673.

Three definitions for "prick"

one has to do with making holes

one has to do with a body part

the appropriate one, in this case is the third:

prick, (man)/prik/n [C] rude slang: a man you do not like. "She hated
this curly-haired, egotistical prick."

When Tom takes an unprovoked shot at me, he is behaving as if he were
a "rude and unlikable" confrontational prick. Prick is commony used to
describe people without incorporating any reference to a penis.

Perhaps you have a potty mind? Perhaps you haven't come across the
word anywhere except a partition in a bathroom stall?

Been a boat owner for one day and already contributing to *those* kinds of
threads...

Does your Capri have that Star Trek style instrument panel? Always thought
those were interesting.
