And then call your friends (if you have any) in Detroit and ask them how
they're enjoying "global warming". Don't worry about not reaching them

they'll be at home because the Tigers are SNOWED out.

A couple of observations;

We need to be careful that we don't confuse climate and weather. They
are two different concepts.

If we are seeing a greater amount of weird weather than normal ("if")-
that could be an indicator of warming even if the weird weather in the
winter or early spring is colder than normal temperatures.

How so? It's the general warming of the earth, and most particularly
the warming of the poles, that is the problem. A rise of several
degrees in temperature at the poles will somewhat disrupt the currents
of air and ocean water that travel from the poles toward the tropics
and back due to the simple physics that warm air (and warm water)
rises and cold air and cold water falls.
As winds and currents shift, weather becomes more unpredictable.

Pointing out freaky weather conditions around the country actually
supports the theory you oppose, and I just thought you might like to
consider that factor.

I'll bet you think cold water boils faster too.

Ever notice how global warming is the cause of everything? It is one
of the elements of a pseudo science, it has no boundaries.

A few years ago, the Great Lakes water level dropped quite a bit. All
the alarmists claimed it was the result of global warming. Then the
water dropped further, exposing a log roadway built on the shoreline
early in the 19th century.
