The temp at the mouth of our harbour is currently 35.2 F
Boating anyone??

...and water temp of 32.2 F

don't know about water temp here, but at this time it's 36 degrees and
dropping.

Far cry from the high 70's and low 80's this past week.

This weekend, here in S. IL. , we're supposed to have a low of 19
degreesSat. and Sunday.

so much for global warming....

Dang, had to change to long pants today from the last 2 days of shorts and
70 degree weather. Unfortunately there is a front coming in Friday or
Saturday, s may screw up the boating for opening of Salmon season.

The snow is so heavy that I cannot even see across the street now. We had 4
inches overnight and the home opener yesterday was called because of the
snow. Tribe games today (including finishing yesterdays game) were
cancelled. My daughter is home for the weekend and was planning to go to
the evening game in a loge owned the father of one of her friends....she is
bummed.

By now I normally have the winter tarp off the boat and have started on the
bottom paint. No such luck this year not only due to the weather but also
my temporary (and improving day by day) medical handicap.

This sucks big time! ;-(

On the plus side we had a perch fry last night with our friends. I can't
wait to get back on the Lake again for some fishing and swimming!

It's been in the 40's with low's in the teens the last couple days.
After those couple weels of hitting highs in the 80's and 60's for
lows, I'm glad I didn't take the boats out, and then have to do some
semi re-winterizing on them again.

Looks like we went through May, now we're back at March again.
