John's is a good cause... but if we needed to be subjected to an annual arm twisting, we could all go watch PBS. http://www.cbc.ca/greatest/top_ten/n...fox-terry.html http://www.collectionscanada.ca/2/6/h6-214-e.html Don, I'm not really sure of the context on what you mean, but concerning "arm twisting" I've never seen any "arm twisting" or "mafioso" tacticc used concerning donating to charitable and other worthy organizations. At least not in the USA. Slight exaggeration...... how about nagging like an old woman?? What part of this was 'nagging', Don? "My daughter is doing much better now than she was a year ago at this time. She's told much of her story, abbreviated, at her web site for the Susan Komen Race for the Cure to be held in Richmond later on. Pictures of her and family and last year's team are on the site. Please take a moment, visit her site, and, if you're able, make a donation (just click on "Support Renee"). She doesn't get any money, but that's the way the page is! I will match any donation made by members of the group before 1 April, 2007. That gives everyone about two weeks. Just forward to me a copy of the receipt from the foundation, and don't make an anonymous donation! Thanks in advance for your generosity! http://www.komenrichmond.org/site/TR...040&px=1015621 or: http://tinyurl.com/264wfd " That was posted one time. -- *****Have a Spectacular Day!***** John H |
