purchased my first boat around 6 months ago, was running real rough,
problem turned out to be a sparkplug, now since having them replaced,
the boat runs beutiful, accept after its been running flat out for
about a minute it starts to loose power and start slowing down,
splutters a little but not to much, but once you let it run slowly for
a bit, it will again go flat knacker and loose power again after about
a minute, does anyone have any idea what this could be in relation
too?

running a 20:1 mix which is what previous owner has told me to use.

Try 50:1 w/ TCW-3.

It sounds like you are running too lean @ WOT.

What is the model number?

Sounds like a clogged vent in the gas tank or a bad hose. Borrow a new
portable tank and try it.

thanks guys found out 50:1 is the ratio i should have been using and
the problem turned out to be the vent on the fuel tank was rusted and
not breatheing....
