Not sure about radial tires... but I had a problem with a new bias ply tire
left to sit over the winter on my old utility trailer.
Tire lost it's air & wouldn't hold any more..(flat spotting or rust on rim)
I bought a tube for it but I understand the tire can now run hotter. This
didn't matter on my old 'dump' trailer which stayed close to home.
For my baby (Sandpiper 565) only a new tire & rim would do!
Get out and spend some money..... it must be weighing down your pant
pockets.

Yes Tom, you can use tubes. However, I recommend a can of "Slime" or
similar tire/rim sealant. Should last the life of the tire and you won't
need a tube. It sure has worked for me in the past.

Admitedly not a very elegant solution (get it?) but it's effective.
