I suppose I shouldn't be so hasty.

I've already ditched the limp 65a alternator, and made a 130 for it.
When I repo my beater merc from my son (he can afford his own work
car!) I'll pul the dual transmission cooler, and 3 core radiator, and
this time I'm going for electric cooling and get rid of the clutch
fan. I always thought electric was mre efficient, because on the
road, they rarely kick on, while the clutch fan is always dragging,
even at a minimum. and though town the fan is turning at a slow speed
where the electrics can kick on and give the same cooling effect as
driving about 60 mph.

it saves fuel, and more efficient cooling.
