Hi folks!
I just bought a boat with a mariner 30hp outboard and I can't find a manual for it anywhere. Specifically, on the front of the motor near the choke and whatnot there is a 1" round threaded cap covering some sort of electrical connector and I have no idea what it does. Any ideas? Cheers Sparky |

If you don't get an answer here, manuals (don't know how good they are) can be found at: http://www.iboats.com/mall/?session_...&view_id=55660 You can sometime find various "factory manuals" on E-bay. --Vic |

Don't know for certain about yours but many outboards can optionally connect
to gauges at the dash. That would be my first guess. "Sparky" wrote in message ... Hi folks! I just bought a boat with a mariner 30hp outboard and I can't find a manual for it anywhere.
