![]() "Bryan" wrote in message . .. The news ticker tape just said that Bay Area (San Francisco) gas prices are expected to increase by 40 cents per gallon over the next two weeks! What's the explanation for that? Anyone know some facts? Nope. Except for boating we rarely have to *pay* for gasoline. My car is a company car so I don't have to pay for gasoline. We get points every time we use our BP Visa and use them to purchase gift cards for use at BP stations. We normally reach $50 in reward $'s every 2 months. We gave a $25 card to my son yesterday and are mailing another $25 card to my daughter. Our grocery store (Giant Eagle) has a "fuel perks" program (http://tinyurl.com/yukz5u ) with $0.10 earned for every $50 spent and redeemable at their gasoline pumps. We redeem the $ once it reaches the pump price and bring along a couple of 5-6 gallon cans to use up the entire 30 gallon limit. . Life is good. ;-) |

Local price are up about 23¢ the last 2 weeks. mike in montana |

I just paid $2.89/gallon on the water last weekend. 183 gallons. Glad I
filled up. "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... Bryan wrote: The news ticker tape just said that Bay Area (San Francisco) gas prices are expected to increase by 40 cents per gallon over the next two weeks! What's the explanation for that? Anyone know some facts? Dick Cheney's retirement fund. |

Trouble is...BP's are hard to find around my parts. Do you know if other companies, like Chevron, does the same thing? -Greg |
