Cash trade price for gas is about 1.77/gal right now and march futures
runing about 1.76. April futures at about 1.82. Overall gas is up
about 25 cents on trades in last 2 weeks. Speculators are driving
prices up because oil has not increased that much and current cash
price for today is around 59.50 a barrel. You can thank Reagan for
this in that he opened up the futures market for oil products and it
generaly adds 10 to 15% to price for profit taking and a lot more when
they speculate.
