What's the difference between dual frequency and dual beam tranducers?
I did a google on it; and just got a link to garmin "what's the difference"..
but it didn't talk about the difference.

Other links went to products (like the garmin 498) but didn't explain the
difference.

Or, is it two terms for the same thing?
