Sort of a Native American/Sedona Vortex/New Age mix thing. Think David Carradine with his flute, just before he opens a Costco-sized can of whoop-ass. The sitar in the opening was a bit out of context, but overall, it worked for me. Have you ever seen "Two Guys, Four Corners" by Don and Fred Imus? There are some incredible images in that book. http://www.amazon.com/Two-Guys-Four-.../dp/0679453075 A good used one goes for about $4 - it's worth it. I have not seen or heard of it, but I just may order one of the used ones from Amazon. How far can you go wrong for $4? |

I've got a book with a collection of his southwest landscapes around here somewhere. Eisboch |

I have "Two Guys Four Corners" and it is incredible. He's also one of the very few photographers who has successfully recreated "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico" by Ansel Adams. |

Shooting in overcast skies is just another skill to be mastered. A buddy of mine and myself are seriously considering signing up for an upcoming workshop. Considering the workshops run for five days, and all that they include, it's really not as expensive as it sounds. In a small-group setting, I'm thinking you could learn more from one of these guys over five days than you could learn from reading a dozen books. And have more fun in the process. |

When we lived in Arizona, my father used to go out in the spring time just to take photos of the cactus flowers blooming. Somehow them seemed so out of place with the stark Sonora desert "moonscape" as a backdrop. |
