Some of us are still sticking with able, baker, charlie, dog and easy.

Probably still think the M1 is the most modern rifle around, too.

I couldn't say. I qualified with the M14. The M1 was long gone by the time
I got drafted. But, at 400 m, I'd sure take the M14 over the M16.

John, I I wasn't privy to the M14. But I do own a great specimen of an
M! and used the M16.

There is no comparison.

John, if you could qualify with the M14, then an M1 would be a
breeze.
