My sister lives in Kissimee, and I can't get though to her. alot of Communication problems. The news shows neighborhoods wiped out. but miraculously, no deaths, but some reports of minor injuries. It really looks horrible on the TV. |

My sister lives in Kissimee, and I can't get though to her. alot of Communication problems. The news shows neighborhoods wiped out. but miraculously, no deaths, but some reports of minor injuries. It really looks horrible on the TV. What I've been able to glean so far is that the worst of the damage is north and north-east of Orlando. Lady Lake is about 50 miles north of Orlando. I'm only one mile from one of the major destruction areas, around our house only a few leaves and palm fronds in the year. Never know something so horrible happened so close. |

Let us know how your sister is doing once you get in touch with her. Thanks Jim, Well, I finally got though to her house, and got their answering machine, which I felt was a relief. That means that they had power, and at least the machine wasn't ripped out of the wall. I just talked to her about a half hr. ago. She her husband and son are doing fine. Fortunately for them the storms were north fo them. Don't know how far, but at least they're safe. |
