My problem with bagpipes is that I have perfect pitch - the more serious form of it - and I don't care how good a piper is, I get a headache. Bummer. Are you therefore unable to listen to Bob Dylan and at least half of the pop music vocalists as well? Piping writes its own rules, and the bagpipe does not use a traditional "western" scale. What may sound to some like a person playing out of tune may easily be darn good piping. |
