Default Big fishing reels, what do they cost?

Hell, there's people fishing with twine and safety pins.
Not suggesting that works for tuna, but you get the drift.
Getting out there is the real expense, not the expensive reel.

I can't tell you how many fish my Grandpa caught with a bamboo pole or
just a stick a hook and a worm grasshopper, or a junebug.

I suppose for big blue water you could always use some nylon cloths
line, a grappling hook, and some calves liver....
