It will definitely increase your "cost per fish" to well above market price. :-) We were following a nice looking 50+ Viking sportfish through a slow speed area yesterday as we were coming home from the weekend. I got a real adrenaline rush watching him accelerate up onto plane at the end of the speed zone. There were a *lot* of horsepower at work as he came up out of the hole in no time at all. Very impressive. And they are really good looking boats. I'm afraid that my search will become an avocation at some point. And to add to my problems, I really want something with outboards which is going to be a problem. I don't know - we'll see. Does your wife want a "floating condo" so she can enjoy weekends on the lake? If so, on the larger lakes it is common for people to own two boats, one for living aboard, and then a bass boat or center console for fishing or a runabout for water toys and sking. Unfortunatley, those boats that are great for living aboard, normally do not make good fishing boats. |
