Now THAT makes perfect sense! I was personally and professionally delighted by the outcomes of some of the races, though. Senator Macaca's loss not only got rid of a senatorial idiot, it eliminated him from being the "conservative" GOP contender for POTUS in 2008. In my own state, our black lieutenant governor bet on what he perceived as the stupidity of black voters and tried to convince them he really wasn't *that* sort of Republican and in fact wasn't really a Republican at all. He was so successful that about 85% of the state's black voters cast their ballots for the other guy. ROTFL! |
