Default Cure for the winter blahs - buy a boat - go for a ride

Works for me.

One of my neighbors is moving inland and offered me her 2002 Searay
270 Sundeck for about 40% off market price. The engine has just over
100 hours on it and was recently serviced and checked out by the local
dealer.

How could I say no?

We took it out for a test ride at lunch time, it ran great, and by
1:00PM it was mine. Such a deal.

Of course I knocked off from work about 1/2 an hour early today so I
could take it for a little spin down to Sanibel Island and the Gulf of
Mexico. It still ran great, but discovered that the port side nav
light was out.

Should have bargained harder. :-)

Life is good.

Now if I could just get that teak on the Grand Banks refinished...
