This was not an insult or childish, if you can not figure out that Tom
was doing a parody of the two of you, you need to look up the
definition of parody and reread your post. You just got finished
telling Tom that you can take and enjoy a joke, so obviously you did not
view it as an insult.

I would hope that you would see how silly your post look, and Dan would
get bored with egging you on. It looks like you are the number one
poster in rec.boats, but it seems well over 50% of the exact same
comments over and over.
