Congratulations - you've managed to fill the newsgroup with crap.

Good job man - damn good job.

Tom, when that thread is collapsed, all I see is one message - the original.
How is this different than any other thread, unless you choose to expand it?

My only complaint is that you perpetuated the crossposting. This NG already
has it's quota of wackos.

Why not confine your discussion to those people in the groups they are
posting to? None of those names are familiar in rec.boats.

The easy answer for me, after getting sick of 100's of crossposting ****ing
contests a day was to block all the names involved .... except yours .... I
enjoy our occasional "discussions" and have some respect for your opinions
..... as incorrect as they usually are. :-)

Tell me how this, your latest contribution to that thread, contributes
anything to rational discussion.

"I know. But, sherwindu adds an extra special layer of stupidity to
any discussion he partakes in."

Oh Tom - in this case, it was obviously true. How can anyone logically say
that you cannot criticize a certain country because of the country's
predominant religion? The guy's a nut case.

How exactly is that discussion? That thread degenerated 195 posts
ago, why continue? If you have to devolve the discourse to this level,
then the discussion is over - move on.

In my opinion you are a much better person than that Doug.

Thank you. You're right.

OK - I'll admit to being lazy. It's much easier to just hit the "respond"
keystroke, and NOT edit out the non-relevant newsgroups from the address
line. But, I don't.

Kind of left me wondering where the heck they all came from.

And none of them is the least bit interested in boats.

It kind of reminded me of the invasion of the "flonkers" in
another discussion forum. An extremely large number of
people with nothing whatever to say and a heck of a lot of
time to waste trying to say something, anything, just to
hear themselves type.

Fortunately, they all have short attention spans and soon
wander off elsewhere.

It appears to be a relatively well set-up web site. Not only
that, it contains this (begine quote)
"...we have set up a discussion forum so that visitors may
express their thoughts on the subjects raised here and
engage in dialogs with other visitors."

So why talk about it *here*? Furthermore, why lure a lot of
argumentative boneheads here? Don't we have enough already,
or were you hoping some of them would stick around to talk
politics?

Funny, I think I'm making good points. All I get back is insults and refusals
to
address what I am saying. It reminds me of certain playground bullies who
when
they can't come up with a retort, resort to name calling, etc. Let's have
some
specifics instead of this bull****.

You might ask why I have seen this thread come up several times on several
groups in the past. We keep hearing the same arguements. I do think that
certain
allegations have to be answered. If these idiots keep throwing down the
gauntlet,
they should not be surprised if someone picks it up.

In my opinion you are a much better person than that Doug.
