The first year or two would be small, but with a little PR and
determination you'd have something really worthwhile before you
realized it.

It's not too late this year to put holiday lights on your boat,
including a nativity scene if you're so inclined, and stage a parade
prior to the heart of the holiday season.

Once November 15th hits, the doors to the boatel are closed for the season.
The aisle way is filled with boats from the slips, and the hatches are
battened for winter. It gets *cold* here!

I wish it didn't get so cold. I think a Christmas Parade of boats would be
fun with Christmas lights twinkling all over the water. Cool!

Christmas Parades on the lake or in the sound. I'd even put a lighted
Nativity Scene on the bow, just so people wouldn't forget the reason we
celebrate the Holiday.

But, I don't. So I have to settle with putting the Christmas lights on the
house. And I just finished! Yippee! Christmas is a time of togetherness and
sharing. And I think a nicely lighted front yard and house says just that
to all who pass by.

Are you coming up this way to visit your relatives for the holidays? If
so, I'll leave the lights on the boat and take your family for a 1-boat
parade. :-)

Can't promise a nativity scene on the bow, however.

Not this season. May come up next summer and spend a week or so. If so,
I'll surely give you a shout.

One of my brothers, an atheist, had a sticker on his car reading, "So many

that Christians would bomb his Acura.

right now.

I've got a tee time Saturday, we'll see how it goes. It's supposed to be
about 20+ degrees cooler than today.

We'll get your stuff tomorrow. No snow though, only rain and wind and
dropping temps.
