Which reminds me - there was some noise in Congress (of all places) about
nudging to the cable biz to offer customers less than a billion channels, at
reduced prices. Anyone heard anything recently about that? A talking head
from Time Warner said it would economically tricky to do that. Meanwhile, my
basic cable bill has inexplicably dropped from nine to seven bucks. It's a
bargain because besides the local stations, I get a Spanish channel where
absolutely everyone, men included, behave like Charo on the old Johnny
Carson show.
