It comes down to The Ohio State University vs. The University of Michigan. The game is being played in Columbus at the 'Shoe'. Perhaps we can make a bet that will be interesting to both of us (but no 3 year old frozen squid). I will not give any points. These are 2 equally talented teams. Are you game? ;-) |

So, in your ignorant mind, someone who doesn't want to post their registration numbers for their boat for all on usenet to use for whatever purpose is a pussy??? Not necessarily. You're not very bright. And youre still apussy. Well, let's see yours then. I'll be waiting! See my what? I dont' expose myself to jsut anybody. I know, I know... The nice thing would be items that add capability you couldn't otherwise have. Like a bucket lift, for example... if you make carbon fiber booms 20% longer than aluminum, they're still lighter and stronger, and you can reach more... and the truck is more stable. Something you couldn't even do with any other material. Is that worth the extra cost? Another obvious application is laptop computer cases... something people *will* pay big bucks for. Increase the shock resistance rating tweny-fold, it's perfectly grounded (carbon fiber is a conductor), and it's a better heat sink... plus it's *still* noticably lighter... and it's got that cool molded carbon fiber look. I think anyone who uses a ladder regularly would be glad to pay 4 times the cost for a drastically lighter ladder. CWM Interesting, because I remember my uncle having a Sears walk behind mower that had a Magnesium deck on it! It had a whole in it where a rock went through it. I suspect the same thing happened to those as the ladders! |

It's great and really sturdy & solid... but getting heavier each year. I used to throw a 40 footer around with ease but times are a changing. Maybe getting back to a regular exercise program might help. |
