If you haven't topped off for winter yet, this may be a good time to do
so. An organization I belong to contracted to purchase over 10,000 gallons of diesel fuel from a local oil dock. (We can put the fuel in any number of boats, as long as the total is 10,000 gallons or more we get the cheapest available price). Not saying it has anything to do with current or recent events, (and who knows, it very well might not) but we found out tonight that on Monday of this week the price started back up. 18-cents a gallon already, at this near wholesale price level. With heating fuel season looming and then the spring/summer boating and driving season following hard after that, it seems unlikely to me that diesel will sell for anything less than today's price for the foreseeable future. |
