I read Eisboch asking about Marcus recently. Is he one of them? I guess Skipper would be numero uno on this list..........correct? I don't know about Skipper, but I think one of the funniest, long running threads ever posted on this NG was the great bilge pump debate between Marcus and Mrs. B. I forget who Mrs B. was but I remember she submitted a picture of a weird, Rube Goldberg type contraption as her "boat" on the original "Boats of Rec.Boats" website. Eisboch The greatest thread of all stated with somthing like "Bayliners sides flex" or somthing like that. It ran for years :-) Capr Jack R.. I was responsible for that one. At that time, the Bayliner fishing boat sides wobbled if you pressed into them with your hand. Ah, but Skipper corrected you. They were purpose-built and supposed to flex. Eisboch |
