Oh man, I'm laughin' so hard it hurts! Good one!

It was pretty funny. We were both laughing our heads off trying to
get back on the dock.

Been there, done some of those things.
Once sailed into Apalachicola, FL by lightning flashes at night.
Stepped up onto the dock and the dock edge broke. I fell backward
tween the boat and dock hitting my head on the toe rail on way down.
It knocked me out. My sailing partner, Bob Tweety, literally lifted me
out of the water by my collar and saved my life. A year later Bob had
a stroke and lost all of his strength so you'd never believe him
capable of such a feat.
After this episode, we walked down the street into the only place open
that night, a bar. A few feet down the street from the bar, I hear a
tiny "meow" in the pouring rain and looked behind a soggy piece of
cardboard against a wall to find a soaked little kitten. We took that
poor little cat into the bar and were immediately surrounded by every
single woman in Apalach. Had no prob giving the kitten away.

Good trick, I'll have to remember that one.
