Now he's 2 guns and $ 5K lighter. Just to show we're a forgiving people we

Don't pick on John H for posting this.

It's more appropriate to feel sorry for him if he lives in a neighborhood where
houses sell so cheaply they are purchased by welfare recipients.

Most of what he describes was
eliminated when the Republican Congress and the last Democratic President
cooperated to accomplish some meaningful welfare reform several years ago.

Why is it that the old stereotypes survive years and years after the facts have
changed? Is it because it's so much fun to
bitch and moan about the poor and/or minorities?

I think Chuck is wrong. Herring from time to time makes blatantly racist

Let's see. Most Canadians have lifestyles similar to most U.S. folks,
they have the benefits of democracy, they have health care, they have a
diverse population, they have no death penalty, they have fewer guns per
capita, and far fewer gun deaths per capita. Naw, there's no
relationship between the number of guns in a country and the number of
gun deaths.
