Nope. The Dixie Chicks had to cancel numerous concert dates across this
country due to poor ticket sales, and replace them with concerts in
Canada.

It's probably a rare day that we can both be reasonably right on the

sold over a half million copies in the first week! One of the reasons
their concerts didn't sell very well in the south didn't have much to
do with the fans.

Sure it did. It had *alot* to do with the insults they hurled at Bush, and
the insults they hurled at country fans in general (remember the spat with
Reba McIntyre?)

iPODs, too. Not only do we like them and their music, but we feel it is
our patriotic duty to support them and their music against President

It's the same old right wing bull**** we've been force fed since the
idiot took office. If you dare say anything negative about Bush, his
henchmen, Republicans, etc. you are un-Amurican, unpatriotic, etc. When
listening to Hannity's screed the other day, just to see what he had to
say, it was absolutely hilarious. He went on and on about how ANYONE
dare say something negative about ANY president was just awful, blah
blah blah, it shouldn't matter what political affiliation, you should
always respect your president, blah, blah. He should listen to tapes of
himself blasting Clinton, then. But, in typical right wing fashion,
it's only applicable when a right winger is in office!!
