Default rivets

Hi All: Thanks for the information on how to rerivet my old boat , probably
do it this winter. One of you said to use solid rivets the tool i have uses
hydruaulics rivets which are solid this old boat is 10 gauge al. in places
and 14 in others will this boat stand up to modern repair methods. Thanks
