This boat of ours is not a fishing boat. Nice runabout but too much

And as my wife is now turned onto fishing (she caught at least 40 of the

around with a small cuddy.

Why would anyone want 73 perch. Fishing is a great past time. One only
needs a feed.
if you want to rape the seabed go by this.

Have you ever been yellow perch fishing on Lake Erie? Do you know their
size and what the limit is/day? Obviously not.

But don't fret............very last fish will be eaten..........trust me.
;-)

Here is one of my favorites...

I just returned from the Pacific Fishery Management Council meetings in
Foster City, Cal. One of the biggies on the agenda is setting up an
Individual Quota system for boats like this. This doesn't sound too
difficult until you start to get into specifics.
The catchers want all the permits among themselves so they can sell to any
processor that gives the best price. The processors are demanding up to 50%
of the permits for themselves so they can control prices and make the
catchers work for them.
To further complicate matters, the govmint passed a law call the American
Fisheries Act (AFA). This act says Alaskan pollock fishers must be allowed
to move south to fish whiting and meanwhile, the council must write
regulations to prevent the pollock fishermen from impacting the whiting
fishery!
This has been going on for some years now and the council seems to be
incapable of resolving anything as the council is made up of fishermen from
these competing industries!
Govmint in inaction is something to behold.

A friend of mine has a 22' Grady White SeaFarer..........I really like
that boat. I have also seen a 23' Pro-line WA that I like.

Anchoring and moving about on the boat will also be easier, especially
for her.

I now have all winter to start selling her on the idea!

What are some dependable brands in the walk around market?

Parker. 25' Pilothouse. Private electric head. Dependable outboard with
NO
I/O problems. Huge cockpit. Stove. Sink.

Slightly used.

I know you have a nice boat Harry but I don't want a boat with an
enclosed
pilot house. We also have no use for a stove or a sink. Thanks for
thinking of me though.

Yep!

Oh, how cute, the resident low life now must resort to cutting the text
that HE SAID. Typical of slime like you.

Why don't you give it a rest? No one gives a crap. Except you.

Harry, you seem to. You instantly and consistently condemn me for
something that is ENTIRELY of JimH's making. Go to the source, Harry.

You sound like a child yet you have posted "Grow up" more than all
others combined. Harry isn't your mother or the principal. Take a deep
breath, Google your posts and if you still think your participation here
isn't adversarial, then look some more.

It's quite simple, even for someone stalking me for the sake of
stalking. I said go to the source. That is JimH. Take a look. He
accuses people of horrible things without any shred of evidence. But,
then again, even being a nasty low life scum that he is, he isn't even
original at that. He stole his accusatory comments from Fritz.

Bass,
You have taught many people the dangers of taking this NG too seriously.

The only reason JimH comments can have any impact on you or anyone in
your life, is because you allow him to. Since no one knows or cares if
your name is Kevin, no one cares if you have grown some pot, and
everyone knows that the "beat your wife and kids" comment are designed
to work you into a tizzy, you need to reevaluate the importance of any
comments made in rec.boats. If you are using his trolls as
justification for calling him names, you are just as guilty as he is.
If you are really upset about any comments JimH makes about you, you
need to reevaluate the importance of rec.boats in your life. When JimH
makes those comments NO ONE CARES, and everyone knows they are just
designed to **** you off, yet you take the bait every time.
If you want to **** JimH off, filter him and ignore everyone of his
insults. The only reason he calls you Kevin, mentions Pot, or talks
about beating your wife and kids is to see if he can **** you off and
get you on another one of your tirades. This really should be very
obvious to you, because it is obvious to everyone else.
