I'm thinking about buying this motor: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/sniper...cd.jpg&.src=ph The owner says that the throttle is NOT on the tiller handle but is combined into the shifter lever, the more forward you pull that handle the faster the motor goes. This is something I've not seen before. Do any of you have experience with these? Can you confirm what the seller is telling me? Also; are these a pretty decent little motor? I'd be using it on a 12' alum V bow boat, if I get it. Thanks for your help. That is normal for the weedless 4hp. This does NOT have a full gearshift... it is "forward" only, with 360 degree steering providing reverse. You can have throttle control with the engine in any position with this set-up. Rob |
