I have a johnson 25hp manual start 2 stroke outboard that won't start.
Also fuel (blackish in color) comes out from behind the propeller and from one of the holes in the leg when I use the pull cord. I'm using new fuel 50:1 mixture. Have I flooded it or worse? Has it something to do with the fact that I ran it (for only 10 seconds) before I left without water running through it? (Dummy) |

I'd say you've gotten it flooded. The black is probably carbon. I'd
pull the spark plugs, and see if they are fouled. pull it over a few times. then re install the plugs and start over. fish lover wrote: I have a johnson 25hp manual start 2 stroke outboard that won't start.
