Geez, not the Mary Ann VS. Ginger VS. Mrs. Howell debate again.

Hey it turns out a guy up here has the boat that was in the opening shots
of Gilligans island. Been all over the evening news...

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/sounds/...sland2ndtv.wav

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour, a three hour tour...
The weather started getting rough,
the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
the Minnow would be lost; the Minnow would be lost.
The ship took ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle,
with Gilligan, the Skipper too,
the Millionaire, and his Wife,
the Movie Star, the Professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle.

Mmmmmmmm................Mary Ann............

I always wondered how Ginger and the Howells could have a different
wardrobe for every scene (probably a semi-truck full of cloths)

While the Skipper, Gilligan Mary Ann and the professor pretty well wore
the SOS every day....

And they're cloths never wore out!

Nope, but at least we have fun with life. ;-)

Can you whistle the Andy Griffith Show theme song?

Give it a try. It might put a smile on your face. : )

No, I can't. The show was pervasive, but insipid, as was Gilligan's Island.

Seriously, I see posts here by people who claim to have busy, fulfilling,
lives, filled with meaningful activities that keep them fully occupied. They
post here 30-40 times per day, from early in the morning until late at
night. When do these meaningful activities happen? In the northeast, summer
is coming to a close. Other parts of the country do get an extended season,
but even in the more southern areas the prime time doesn't last forever. Get
off your computer and do some boating, camping, fishing, hiking, gardening,
or any other thing that will get you away from here.

If rec.boats is your idea of "fun with life", then you don't have much fun
with life. There's more fun in one fishing trip for white perch in a local
pond than in a month of rec.boats posts.

John P. Wentworth III......you are a snob........and worse yet you are
a snob with no sense of humor.

BTW: Why are you wasting your time here? Seems you should be
"boating, camping, fishing, hiking, gardening or any other thing that
will get you away from here".

And please pass the 'Grey Poupon' to the person in the Bentley next to
you. :-)

You may want to compare the number of my posts and the number of your posts.
Rec.boats isn't my life, as it apparently is for many of the posters here.
What's the matter Bill, don't like that image in the mirror?
