Interesting clouds, interesting diversity of land use. This shot was
taken from the edge of the rim of Diamondhead, the extinct (hopefully)
volcano that dominates much of the island visually.

From where came the picture?

My, my John. You, Kevin and Reggie have been trolling for fights all day.

And you guys claim you support a new and improved NG?

We all know that 'following' boys is actually your chosen lifestyle
John............as well as your love for *pretty* cars and white fluffy
women's hats.

How much do you spend on candy each week? ;-)

Why from my trip last fall to Hawaii, numnutz.

Didn't you read the part that said "more of my Hawaii photos from last
fall"?

Here's one of a rocky beach we visited:

And another nice scenic, but even in Hawaii, there's some poverty, as
evidenced by the crummy buildings in the foreground, which I decided not
to crop.

This is the beach in front of the hotel where we stayed, with
Diamondhead in the background:

Did you try using a haze filter?

We stayed at the Ilikai Waikiki Beach Hotel when we visited. Beautiful
place, Hawaii, and every picture came out looking like a post card. It
seems as though there's a lot more haze (pollution) there now.

I don't think it's possible to take a bad picture in Hawaii.

The pregnant woman in the polka dot bikini doesn't seem too happy!

Very nice photos, Harry.

It's a rare day when you'd need a haze filter due to the trade winds
constantly blowing. Some haze you see may be ocean spray.

We stayed at the Ilikai Waikiki Beach Hotel when we visited. Beautiful
place, Hawaii, and every picture came out looking like a post card. It
seems as though there's a lot more haze (pollution) there now.

Air pollution is rare as I said. Remember, Hawaii has no heavy
industry that contributes to pollutants in the air. Sure, there are a
lot of cars, especially on Oahu, and on a day that has little wind,
you might see some haze. And of course, there's Madam Pele in the Big
Island. Can't do anything about her.
btw, I met Elvis at the Ilikai (when it was only a hotel) in 1969
while working my way thru the U. of H. He was very nice and we talked
for a few minutes. I got his autograph on a paper napkin, but lost it
long ago.

I don't think it's possible to take a bad picture in Hawaii.

You're right! I have many beautiful shots of my kids at Hanauma Bay
before the tourists took it over. I used to dive there for our dinner.
Now you get caught taking anything out and they'll throw you into
Kilauea.
Eddie

My week at the Ilikai was also in 1969, but I didn't get to see Elvis!

Jim, if you'd call me by MY name, things would improve for you.
Everyone here sees you for the childish petty boy that you are. Now
have at yet another of your monthly period bipolar rants. I also find
it cute how you used to totally despise Harry, now you when someone
even dare ask him from where a picture was taken, you come nipping at
their heels like a bitch Chihuahua.
