Default Boating yesterday report

Went out to the Sacramento Delta yesterday. Get there and find out the foot
pedal for the MK 65 AP is not in the boat. So set up some drifts along the
tules and shore and try it that way. Did not fish until noon time. Had a
couple on the Sweet Beaver Hot Tamale but none reached the boat. Was on a
lighter rig, so maybe no enough backbone to drive the hook home. Nothing on
the frog. Get out a new brown football head jig, and the rubber band
holding the skirt falls apart. Was just not my day. Did do some cat
fishing for a couple for dinner tonight and coming back in, the evening bite
was on. There is a Wed. even tourny out of Stockton and 2 guys were culling
when I talked to them. They had 17#. Senkos, Frogs, Beavers. Drifted to
fast without the trolling motor for Senko fishing. But weather was
fantastic, High 70's, no wind, sunny. Still a nice day. Expensive, but
nice. topped off the boat at Costco $2.92 gallon for $99 and filled the
truck with $3.19 diesel in the evening for $75 and $10 launch fee and $26 in
more plastics and hooks.

Glad to hear you had a nice day on the water and that your gasoline
prices are dropping. ;-)

Went to Costco today to drop off the disposable cameras from the wedding.
$2.89 gallon. Down another 3 cents. I would have saved a buck. Luckily
the boat was only down a 1/2 tank.
