Hello:
I have a real old vers. of Bowditch (1960's), and was thinking of getting a new copy. I noticed that it's all on-line now, but there's still nothing like a book. I guess this really dates me ! Hence these questions, please: a. Is there still a separate volume for the math tables, or are they all incorporated into the one volume now ? b. is the 2002 the latest vers. ? any rumors about a newer one coming out next year or so ? c. very confused over who actually publishes this book anymore. My old one was via the Hydrographic office. I see the new one, at least Amazon's one, is : "Bowditch," offered by Celestaire and Paradise Cay Publications" Who is Celestaire or Paradise Cay ? d. Is there another version by some Gov't Office ? I thought I once saw someting about the National Imaging Center publishing a version ? e. Are there actually two versions being published ? f. Are many of the pages still in color ? Do they still come with those really nice plastic insert star charts ? Much thanks, Bob |
